Adventure for the Young

Summer camps in the Haliburton Highlands

Did you know that the first summer camps in the province were founded in 1900. Since that time, Ontario and especially the Haliburton Highlands have become home to many of the camps where kids experience the outdoors, find new friendships and create memories to last a lifetime.

Camps have been shown to develop unique leadership skills in children, fostering independence, confidence, altruism and a collection of other traits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
