Event Details

Make a miniature pumpkin in time for Halloween! Join this workshop and learn how wet felting works – it’s a fun, hands-on process that can be used to create almost anything!

In this workshop, Nadine Papp will guide you through to process of creating a wet felted pumpkin by layering and manipulating raw wool to shrink and secure the fibres in the shape of a small 2” to 3” pumpkin. We will further embellish these with leaves and vines – also hand felted.

Supplies included, pre-registration required. The workshop runs from 10am – 2pm, with a break for lunch. Please bring a lunch or head next door to Molly’s Bistro Bakery.

Cost: $10+HST – please pay over the phone at 705-286-3763 or drop by the Agnes Jamieson Gallery to pay in advance.

Registration required: Please phone the Agnes Jamieson Gallery at 705-286-3763 to register.

There is a strict maximum of 5 participants. Every participant will have their own table for a workstation to ensure physical distance is observed. Please wear a mask.

As the Province has moved into Stage 3 of Phase 2 of Ontario’s Action Plan, the Township of Minden Hills is cautiously entering the initial stages of planning and supporting events within the municipality.
