Originating from the Haliburton Highlands, Earl Johnson has always treasured the small town feel and the music scene Haliburton has had to offer. Originally a drummer since his early teens he adapted the love of guitar from his Dad and his Uncles, playing country and western classics from the greats like George Jones, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. Although he leans more towards rock and roll, he appreciates all genres of music and has played with various musicians whether it be country, classic rock, heavy metal, blues or folk music. His band, North of Seven, plays as much as they can throughout the highlands in hopes of sharing their stories in their music. Their debut album, released in 2022, featured songs currently heard on Canoe FM and are currently working on new material in the studio with a tentative release this Fall. With or without his band, Earl loves to entertain and hopes you enjoy the music as much as he enjoys performing it!

The campers are all finally asleep, and the lake is getting quiet. Have a beer; make a s’more; tell a scary story. Figure out what you’re going to have to do in the morning to keep camp fun and safe without letting the kids find out about… well, you’ve seen the news. I just got a notification – they’re getting closer.
Following a group of camp counselors trying to mold the leaders of tomorrow when tomorrow is looking bleaker and bleaker, The Grown-Ups explores the traditions that change us, what it takes for us to change them, and how to change yourself when you’re hopelessly, tragically not prepared for this.
“The Grown-Ups” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
Content Warning: The Grown-Ups contains mild adult themes, alcohol use, and strong language. We recommend it for audiences ages 12 and older.

Most of the music we listen to never really gets under our skin. As pleasant and catchy as it may be, it skims along the surface, like a stone skipping across water. Every now and then, if we are really lucky, we encounter an artist like Sandra Bouza who gets right down into our blood and bones. An artist whose voice stops us in our tracks….
