Oakview Coliving hosts a return engagement by an Ottawa musical duo and a Toronto poet on Sunday, February 9 at 2pm. Anne Hurley and Jim Videto perform as Walk on the Wire. Their progressive folk music reflects themes, emotions, and vignettes from the ordinary miracles of our lives. Kate Marshall-Flaherty has published eight volumes of poems that face the world with strength and reverence.
The theme they have chosen for this year’s performance is Hope Springs Eternal. It’s a soul-nourishing combination, perfect for a cold February afternoon.
Free admission with donation to Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Center. Limited space: email oakview.coliving@gmail.com to reserve a seat; or call Doug at 647-965-2564.

- Devin Matthew Wilson is a self-produced singer/songwriter balancing his time between the forests of the Algonquin Highlands and the shores of the Central Pacific coast. His sound draws inspiration from those revolving landscapes and the perspectives they provide to create his version of what he considers postmodern folk music, but call it what you want
