While Canada Day continues to be a major celebration across the country, it’s also important to remember that the story of this land didn’t begin in 1867 – It extends back thousands upon thousands of years.
As well as a day to celebrate, it’s also a day to learn, to reflect and to look to the future and see how we can continue to make things better.

Join us all day downtown Minden for Food, Music, Kids activities and Fun including the Fishing Derby, Minnow Races, Free Ice-cream. Don’t forget to visit the Cultural Centre from 10 am – 4 pm…. Fireworks at the Fairgrounds at dusk…
Cardiff at the Legion
Join everyone a the museum 9 -11. as the Legion hosts a pancake breakfast…
Highland Grove Celebrate
Join everyone a the museum 12 – 3. Children’s crafts and local entertainment…. there will also be Horseshoes and a BBQ and more…
Gooderham
Robert McCausland Community Centre. Children’s activities, cake and live entertainment featuring The Ragged Company starts at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks start at about 10:00 p.m….
