Begin your mushroom journey with a thorough and engaging 90+ min seminar designed to demystify wild mushrooms. You will receive a 6-page handout covering all the basics of mushroom hunting methodology to build foraging skills. Then put your knowledge in action as you take a deep dive into the forest and begin identifying any wild mushrooms in their natural habitat! You will forage mushrooms to take back to the Post House where Chefs Dan and Amber will prepare a delicious 4 course dinner featuring these mushrooms with fresh, organic, locally hand-harvested wild edibles for you to savour.
Dates: October 4, 2024.
Workshop and dinner per person: $175 + HST
Minimum participation per event is 6 and maximum is 28
Or bundle the workshop with an overnight stay at The Post House by booking a cottage (includes a full American Breakfast/Brunch the next morning as follows.
