Event Details
James Raffan has written books, produced music, guided backcountry expeditions, written for film and television, chased caribou, penguins and polar bears, been to the North Pole, taught from K-university, curated museum exhibits, flown planes, ridden horses, paddled for the Queen, travelled around the world at the Arctic Circle, and all of that tracks back—somehow—to canoes—for JR, a “doubled-ended obsession.” In a lively and fun evening of stories and music, James will decant his passion for canoes and where they’ve taken him, finishing with an update on the exciting developments as the new Canadian Canoe Museum takes shape on Little Lake in Peterborough.
