Blues for Beginners – No need to sell your soul at the crossroads! In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of the blues. Using the 12 Bar Blues as a template for structure and pacing. Once we’ve mastered the basics, we’ll learn stops, and some tricks and tips to make the basics stand out and get you ready for the blues jam at the club.
Beginners welcome for this 90 minute workshop. You need to know the chords C, F and G7.
Admission $25 at the door, $20 in advance (non-refundable). Admission price for workshop includes free admission to the Manitoba Hal concert performance beginning at 7pm.
