Come join us for our widely popular open jam sessions every Sunday. It is similar to Open Mic but with a greater focus on spontaneous jamming.

We encourage all musicians of all styles and skill levels to join the stage and contribute to the jams. Although it can feel intimidating at first, jamming with some of the best local musicians in the region, we hope to make people feel comfortable because the goal is to have fun! And learn! Even if you are just starting out and you only know just one chord, bring it on stage and we’ll make musical magic together, one of the best feelings ever!

Many players choose to play cover songs that everyone knows and some choose to play original music. You can play solo or invite people to play with you. It’s up to you. Everyone gets a chance to play!

This jam will be hosted by Burks Falls’ very own Sean Cotton, a well-known local musician who has been gigging in Muskoka for well over a decade. Sean plays many instruments but primarily sings and plays guitar. He knows most of the popular songs and has the ability to jam on any song in any genre even if he hasn’t ever heard it before. One of the best jammers we have ever seen! Sean is welcoming and loves to prop up other musicians by supporting them without arrogance or judgment.y Stirtzinger, who sings and plays electric guitar, and has an extensive list of blues based rock n’ roll songs that many of us will remember and sing along to.
