Sir Sam’s Ski/Ride and WWHSTA are hosting a back country skiing day on Saturday April 2nd, 2022 at Sir Sam’s.
Members will join us to skin up the hill and ski down on the remnants of this seasons snow pack. If you are a non-member and wish to participate in this event please contact Annie at membership@wwhsta.org!
This is a great opportunity to learn about backcountry ski touring, meet some like minded powder-hounds and enjoy the last of days of our ski season!

Join us for our first ever Touring Day at Sir Sam’s Ski & Ride! Let’s celebrate the end of a lovely 2nd year of WWHSTA.

* * The ski lifts will be CLOSED – you will have to earn your turns, climbing up with either skins or snowshoes.

Meet for coffee and orientation at 10:30am and hit the slopes at 11:00am. Pack your own lunch but save some room for some yummy treats to be provided. Drinks can be purchased. We will have access to the chalet for washrooms and relaxing. We are asking for a small donation to cover resort staff time and make a contribution to a worthy cause.
