The February Folk Fest is a celebration of talented musicians and community spirit, taking place across venues throughout the Haliburton Highlands. Join us for a series of unforgettable performances showcasing folk, acoustic, and light pop genres that will brighten even the coldest winter days.

- Admission: Some events are free, while other venues may be ticketed or have a small cover charge
2025 Lineup
Franks and Beans
Live music during après-ski. A cover band that takes pop songs from a variety of genres and decades and turns them into funk/soul dance floor party bangers.

Terra Lightfoot
Hometown favourite Terra Lightfoot returns with her talented trio. Their energy and charisma onstage together creates musical magic, led by Terra’s wonderful voice and monster guitar playing. Her latest album Healing Power was recently long-listed for the prestigious 2024 Polaris Music Prize.

Brian Wride - Open Stage
Brian is an accomplished guitarist with a soulful, baritone voice who lives in Uxbridge, Ontario. Brian sings and plays unique acoustic interpretations of rock, folk, blues, and country tunes that span the generations. His performances are like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get.
