Luke Mercier is one of Canada’s foremost fiddlers in the old-time scene. A regular technician and instructor at Jenny Whiteley’s Old School Bluegrass Camp, Luke has played with Ken Tizzard, Stompin’ Tom, Lotus Wight, Jenny Whiteley, Joey Wright and Magnificent Octopus Sam Allison, aka Lotus Wight, is a multi instrumentalist credited with spearheading the old-time music revival scene, inspiring a  new generation of banjo and fiddle obsessives.

He has played with Sarah Harmer, Serena Ryder, Jenny Whiteley, Meredith Moon, Esmerine, Lonesome Ace Stringband, The Silver Hearts, Luther Wright and the Wrongs, David Newland and Martin Tielli.
