Come join us for a night of spoken word and rhymes at Dominion Hotel Pub. Let your creativity flow and share your poetry with a supportive audience. Whether you’re a seasoned poet or new to the scene, all are welcome to participate or simply enjoy the show. Poetry lovers, who are shy about presenting their work, are encouraged to bring a favourite poem, from a favourite poet, and take their turn at the microphone.

Host: Lea Harper — call Lea at 705 754 4678 to book a spot to present

Cost: Free with an opportunity to donate at the door to support future work of the Arts Council.

Theme: What HOME means … please define this as in whatever way it inspires you but here are some additional words to help you think it through: At a time when the sovereignty of our country is being talked about in the news, we’d love to hear what HOME means to you and Where is HOME in your heart? For example, What does it mean to be part of a family, a community, a nation, a global village? Is HOME a refuge or a war zone, a place you return to again and again, or is it an imagined world, a utopia? Is it found in solitude, on a forest path, in the arms of a lover? Writing HOME. Your way, your story . . .
