Yvonne will discuss the history of rug making in various styles including hooking, braiding, punching, tufting, weaving and rag rugs She will share various artists work, along with her own, in how this time-honoured craft has been elevated to a contemporary art form Yvonne is the current president of The International Guild of Handhooking Rugmakers There will be a slide show and display of Yvonne’s work plus other rug artists
that Yvonne has collected.
