Event Details

Explore underneath an 1870’s railway trestle bridge! Then cross the 300′ span high over Kendrick’s Creek as it flows towards Burnt River. Continue rambling along the Haliburton County Rail Trail (HCRT) at an easy walking pace.
• FoRT leads this social Sunday Ramble welcoming all ages.
Bring a snack to enjoy beside the Burnt River. Bugs are out, so bring spray – but they’re not as bad on the wide breezy trail.

• Meet at 11 am at the far end of Howland Jct Rd (off 121) with your family, friends and friendly dog(s). Enjoy historic scenery along this former railway line.
