Winter Edition 2026 – Feb 7 & 8
Established in 2020, the Winter Edition is Hike Haliburton on snowshoes!
Plan your adventure
Over the February weekend, we invite you to discover the snow-covered trails, frozen lakes, and quiet forests of the Haliburton Highlands through a wide variety of guided winter hikes and snowshoe adventures led by knowledgeable hike leaders.
Beyond the hikes, embrace the season by exploring local arts and cultural sites, warming up with live music and entertainment at community venues, and enjoying winter celebrations happening throughout the region. We’re excited to announce that this year’s Hike Haliburton Festival registration will be powered by PheedLoop! This new system will help us better manage group sizes and ensure more people can enjoy our guided hikes.
Here’s what’s different this year:
- One registration = one hiker
Each participant will need to register individually using their own email address. - Why the change?
In the past, some hikers reserved multiple spots for large groups, but not everyone would attend, or take spot in multiple hikes that would happen at the same time. This led to empty spaces and missed opportunities for others who wanted to join.
Thank you for helping us make the festival fair and accessible for everyone. We can’t wait to see you on the trails!
