Are you a landowner looking to build or improve your trails? Do you do trails work as a volunteer or staff? If so, you should join Dave Naulls at Barnum Creek Nature Reserve to learn the basics of sustainable trail building, trail risk management and liability.

Building sustainable trails is a mix of science and art. The science part is managing erosion, compaction, environmental practices, and user safety. The art part is about making the trail interesting and fun to be on. The group will meet at the cabin near Barnum Creek parking area at 9 am. Please wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather and bring along water and pack a lunch. You will come away with an abundance of knowledge you can put into practice on your own property and beyond.
