Twelve-year-old Helen Keller lived in a prison of silence and darkness. Deaf, blind, and mute from an illness as a baby, with no way to express herself or comprehend those around her, she flew into primal rages against anyone who tried to help her, fighting tooth and nail with a strength born of furious desperation.
Then Annie Sullivan came. Half-blind herself, but possessing an almost fanatical determination, she would begin a frightening and incredibly moving struggle to tame the wild girl no one could reach.
Opens July 15th for eight performances including three matinees. Recommended for ages eight and up. There is no official rating system for live theatre. We encourage you to use your judgment based on your child’s age and maturity level.

Join us for a night of hilarity as we offer Hollow Valley Resort’s first ever STAND UP COMEDY NIGHT!
Bringing their comedy styles to the lounge stage will be Daniel Shaw and Jesse Ralph with special guest(s) TBA.
Daniel Shaw
Winner of Corus Entertainments’ Funniest Canadian, Daniel Shaw has been performing across Canada for the better part of a decade. From comedy clubs to theatres, and festivals, Daniel’s disarmingly absurd views on life and parenting has kept audiences laughing and slightly concerned. He has shared the stage with many of Canada’s greatest comedians such as Scott Thompson, Kenny vs Spenny, and Rick Mercer and now it is time for him to blossom and find his own path, or at least a way to escape his toddler for an evening.
Jesse Ralph
