Ryan Van Lee was born and raised in the highlands of Haliburton, ON, where he was first introduced at a very young age to the accordion by his Opa. Ryan then picked up the guitar at the age of 10 where he was mentored by many Canadian Country Music Legends including his close friend country music hall of famer Johnny Burke.
