Bad Coyote (2013), directed by Jason Young, is a documentary that investigates the fears in rural Maritimes after a fatal coyote attack in Cape Breton. As locals speculate about a new coyote, wolf “super-species,” the film questions whether the threat is real or fueled by fear and rumor. Presented in collaboration with the Haliburton County Public Library and National Film Board of Canada.
