Playing the best of classic rock from the Tragically Hip to the Eagles and more, Tribute Band Ed’s Garage will headline the Gooderham Music Festival on Saturday July 29. The event takes place outdoors at the Robert McCausland Community Centre at the corner of Country Roads 503 and 507 in Gooderham.
The B&B Blues Band will kick off the day starting at 1:00 pm, followed by the Rockin’ Bobs at 3:00 pm, Salt Cellars at 5:00 pm and Ed’s Garage at 7:00 pm.
“Admission to the Festival is free and we’ve programmed the day to offer something for everyone,” said Marilyn Wooder, member of the Gooderham Community Action Group which organizes the event every year.
“The hot sounds of the B&B Blues Band are keeping the Blues music culture alive and kicking. The Rocking Bobs offer ‘get up and dance’ rock, blues, country and funk, and the Salt Cellars offer vocals infused with folk, Americana, Blues, Jazz and Pop influences. Rounding out the day, Ed’s Garage five-part harmonies will put a real edge on classic rock tunes guaranteed to entertain.”
Along with BBQ items and other food for sale, there will be vendors, a silent auction and Catch The Gooderham Spirit calendars and Tee-shirts for sale- cash only.
Attendees will want to bring lawn chairs, bug spray and some dancing shoes!
