The Minden Hills Cultural Centre will host a free screening of Wilfred Buck (2024) on Thursday, June 18 at 1:00 PM. Wilfred Buck (2024), directed by Lisa Jackson, follows Cree Elder Wilfred Buck as he shares Indigenous teachings of astronomy and cosmology, connecting earth and sky, past and present. Blending present-day footage, reenactments, and archival material, the film tells an inspiring story of resilience, identity, and cultural knowledge.

Presented in collaboration with the Haliburton County Public Library, this screening is open to all ages. Admission is free. No pre-registration is required.
