On Thursday, July 31, we’ll be screening The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby (2005), a heartwarming tale of loyalty and friendship.

Admission is by donation. No pre-registration is needed—just show up, grab a spot, and get cozy before both films begin at 8:00PM. Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, and your favourite movie snacks! Light refreshments will be available.
Don’t forget to get your Haliburton Highlands heritage passport stamped! Passports are available at the Cultural Centre.

There will be live music, food, fun and free banana splits! Don’t forget sales and our popular prize pass is back. See you there!

Dorset Community Yard Sale. August 2, 2025 from 9am until 1pm in the parking area of the Dorset Lions Centennial Park at 1054 Main Street Dorset

Tables are available for rent to sell household yard sale items. $5.46 per table. Tables are 6 feet long. Space is limited, first come first serve, table rental registration closes on August 1st at 5pm.

A Repair Café is a free community event where volunteers with repair expertise help people in the community repair their broken belongings.

Bring your broken items, or your repair expertise, to one of these events and work together to repair household electrical and mechanical devices, furniture, computers, bicycles, clothing, and many cherished antiques and keepsakes. The diverse list of items repaired is endless.
