• Join us for our Season Opening on May 16 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Minden Hills Museum & Heritage Village and Nature’s Place. This year’s opening brings together a mix of returning favourites and new themed activities to enjoy throughout the site.
  • (New!) Alice in Wonderland-themed Hat Making & Decorating Workshop, where children participants (ages 6-12) design their own whimsical hats using provided materials.   • Victorian Tea at Bowron House (11 AM – 2 PM)
  • Exotic Animal by Browning Reptiles at Nature’s Place (12 PM – 2 PM)
  • Exhibits and displays at the Museum & Heritage Village and Nature’s Place (10 AM – 4 PM)
  • Early Settler Games in Village Centre
  • “Find the White Rabbit” Riddle Hunt begins at Nature’s Place and finishes at the library
  • Book sale by Friends of Friends of the Haliburton County Public Library (10 AM – 2 PM)

All activities except Hat Making & Decorating are drop-in. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience culture, history, storytelling, and a touch of whimsy!  Admission is by donation. Guests are welcomed to dress up as Alice in Wonderland-inspired characters.
