Bilingual singer, songwriter and fiddle player Aleksi Campagne brings his trio to the stage on October 18. Recently named Penguin Eggs and Roots Music Canada’s New Discovery of the Year, Aleksi wows audiences with his unique combination of voice, violin and looping-effect pedals.

He received a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2024 for French Songwriter of the Year.

Paul Mills will be tracing his life’s journey in which he started out as a chemical engineer, but ended up as an award-winning musician and record producer. The process by which he made this significant transition and the resulting joy that it delivered to his life’s journey are covered through anecdotes, pictures and musical examples.

After the talk, Paul will entertain us with a short set of music featuring songs by some of the well-known artists he has produced as well as some of his own compositions.

Hometown favourite Terra Lightfoot returns with her talented trio. Their energy and charisma onstage together creates musical magic, led by Terra’s wonderful voice and monster guitar playing. Her latest album Healing Power was recently long-listed for the prestigious 2024 Polaris Music Prize.
